I owned a 4k Epson 3800 projector which I paid about the same price for. I returned the Epson because it suffered uniform focus issues and refused to accept that for the price.I was extremely hesitant buying another expensive projector nearly a year later now, especially when most reviewers would argue the Epson is just objectively better than this.I’m glad to say I absolutely love this projector so far! I was worried about rainbow effect with a DLP vs a 3 LCD like the Epson but I can say it’s a non issue for me with this. I can only barely see the rainbow if I really dart my eyes, not at all during normal viewing. It’s extremely bright and sharp! The auto focus works excellently but perhaps the auto keystone not so much. It refused to fit into my projector screen on its own and I had to manually adjust.Adjusting the image on all corners inwards to make it smaller allowed me to fit the screen with the projector farther away, but there is a light bleed around the screen if you do this so I don’t recommend it. You really just need to position this the proper distance from your screen to fit it vs trying to adjust it in. I can understand this making some positioning difficult depending on your scenario.I understand what people are saying regarding the remote as well. There are two different menus, one is the android TV menu and the other is the actual projectors menu. Theres apparently no way to access the projector menu from the remote and so far seems like you have to press the settings button on the projector itself. The sound was too quiet until I realized again that the volume on the remote was separate from the volume on the device. Again this is a little confusing. I just set the volume on the projector to max and use the remote from there and I’m fine. The app seems extremely basic but the touch control inside it is very innovative and intuitive. Very impressed there. While I have noted a few less than ideal things about this projector I still highly recommend it. Excellent picture and brightness in a small portable device. I might choose something else for a permanent placement inside a dedicated theater room but otherwise this is amazing.Just know what you want! This isn’t a gaming projector and the image quality and latency CAN be beat for the price but your sacrificing many other excellent aspects that this projector does bring to the table. For me, it’s a keeper. I was dissatisfied with the Epson 3800 which people would claim is superior.

The picture quality is excelent; definitly hard to beat oled. I watched the original 1973 Westworld movie and the TV made it look great (too bad it couldn’t improve plot). I’ve had problems with the OS where apps stop working requiring some combination of deleting the app data and/or restarting the TV; very frustrating. This has already happened a few times in less than a week. Roku TVs have been much more reliable. Hopefully a future OTA firmware update will help. I may just install a Roku if problems continue; sorry Sony/Google.Update 8-1-2022: Dropping to 4⭐ due to buggy OS. Wired network stopped working today… restarted TV and it’s working again. Basicaly theres been something every few days that requires the TV to be restarted via the system menu to fix.Update 8-19-2022: Things are better after last firmware update. Leaving at 4⭐ because the OS should be easier to use and I don’t have a lot of confidence in it not having another bug in a later update. At least I’m still happy with the picture.Update 9-30-2022: TV has only required one restart to fix network issue. It’s hard wired so I’m blaming the OS; everything else in the house was working. The TV interface continues to disappoint due to the number of clicks to do anything. I’m also getting tired of seeing all of recomended shows to watch served up from google. Plugging in a Roku is still an option.

Short and sweet, everything works as expected and advertised. The picture quality is superb, and I haven’t felt the need to do a lot of tweaking, much less calibration, to get it there (as I have in the past on other TV’s). The overall look of the TV is very minimalistic, as the edge of the screen and the stand nearly disappear. Speaking of the stand, it’s very stable while being low profile, and the multiple installation methods to modify the height, while I haven’t needed them, are a useful feature that I’m sure many will appreciate. I can’t speak to the internal speakers as I don’t use them, but I can say the arc features work very well and very seamlessly. I can just turn on the Apple TV, and the TV and reciever both turn on and move to their correct inputs. Likewise, I can turn on the TV, and the same adjustments are made. I find I seldom need to adjust the TV or receiver. Just turn on the source and go. I’ve had issues with other TV’s where arc either didn’t do all I needed or at times, was fighting what I was trying to do. None of that with this TV. It does what you expect and need from arc pretty flawlessly. Now for all of the look and features, this TV is all about the picture, and it is awesome! I’m sure a tester could find some tiny flaw somewhere, but as a normal user with pretty big expectations, it delivers. I think you’d have to be looking for something to ding this TV on when it comes to picture quality, and even then, you’d probably need a pointer in the right direction to find it still. I’m sure there are likes and dislikes to be had on the smart tv features and the OS, but it’s the picture that matters the most, and on that count, this Sony truly delivers! Oh, and set your Apple TV to use Dolby Vision and….. just wow!If you wonder about the true blacks of OLED, it’s mostly what you don’t notice that is the real story. None of the blooming or banding in dark scenes. Every once in a while, the depth of the black will pop out and make you notice, but most of the time, it’s more subtle and, like everything with the picture quality on this TV, just “right”. Nothing is drawing your attention so much as it all just looks natural and right, so your brain just moves on without notice.I can’t say this is the best “deal” for a TV, or even for an OLED (I haven’t tried them all to say the least). What I can say is the picture is spectacular, and I don’t think you’ll be at all disappointed.

First of all: you HAVE to have HDMI 2.1 cables or some things won’t work. Setting up is a steep learning curve — manual doesn’t mention that the setup menu of your AVR only appears when video is not in play (disconnect all outside cables first except the AVR connection to HDMI port 3 and use that port for the menu). For some reason it is not an Android system like previous BRAVIAs, but Google Play, yet the main apps are available, so there’s not much difference, although app menus seem a little slower to appear — due to larger bandwidth, I suspect . Picture is glorious! Took me a few days to setup, including a Geek Squad team visit and a morning on the phone talking to support from the Denon team (for my AVR setup; it is new, too). I upgraded to this system for the sound — eARC finally works, yay, with an updated AVR and HDMI 2.1 cables, and it sounds fantastic on my 7.2.4 system. Streams Dolby Atmos from apps! Once you figure out hopping around on all the menus and remotes, it is much easier to transition between external HDMI connections compared to my previous BRAVIA. Glad I made the leap: cutting edge tech is always a pain to use at first, but the end result has me wanting to go back and re-watch movies and shows — looks and sounds much more like an actual movie theater now than any combo I have had before! Wish I had more room for the tv, I would love to go even larger to a 65 inch screen 8′).

Love this TV. Was conflicted on getting this one or the Sony LED Full array TV. Best Buy worked with me in exchanging two LG nano cells that had software issues on both of them. When the second one had an issue, I knew I was going to switch brands. Decided to go with a Sony after researching and reviews. So glad I did, and upgraded to OLED. The brightness is great. Picture is so clear and lifelike. Software is fast and easy to navigate. Nice that you get 5 credits for five movies on the Sony streaming service. I cannot express how good the picture display is. Much better quality than the LG or Samsung. Worth the price and excellent. I am using this in a bedroom. When I move to my new apartment, I will get another Sony just bigger. Or upgrade to the A95K QD OLED.

Sony is amazing with almost everything they develop. This TV is great entry level into the world of OLED. I have been rewatching all my favorite movies and cannot believe how amazing the picture is. The Bravia Core promo with 5 free films is a nice bonus too as it showcases the television’s ability as a home theater big screen.

Picture 5/5. The pic included is with a tremendous about of ambient light (covered, middle of the day). That’s a lot of brightness for a projector! No waiting until pitch darkness for a movie night like with other projectors!Materials/Build: 5/5. It looks and feels fantastic and premium, befitting the price tag.Setup: 1/5 – Upon setting up there is a bug in the software that makes it difficult to connect to wifi. Tech support says to try another wifi source… like I’m supposed to take it to my neighbor’s house or McDonalds? I don’t have more than one wifi source! I had to connect it to my phone which took 6 hours to run the update. This is egregious and really leaves a lot to be desired as a first impression.Keystone/Focus features – 4/5. Not exactly Apple level “it just works” but close. Helps to have a defined screen to shoot on and a projector stand to do a little manual adjusting as well.Remote – 4/5. Updates to the remote make it work just fine. Nebula app is responsive and easy. The dongle and the projector each have their one menu and it’s… suboptimal.Built in streamer – 4/5. Netflix, Amazon, Apple, TUBI, YouTube run beautifully. Disney Plus? Doesn’t. You have the app but get an error code. Hopefully the maker of the dongle updates on their end. Frustrating for the price paid and the promise of having native Disney plus in their advertising.Sound – 5/5. Most things native to the projector sound strong and clean for an outdoor movie.Video Games – 5/5. Attached a Nintendo mini console and it looked and worked great. No noticeable lag in game mode. I imagine playing some kind of competitive shooting game would be different, though.Connections – 5/5. No issues – plugged in the cable box, connected to a Bluetooth speaker, AirPods, Nintendo console, no problems. Some may want more ports than the HDMI and USB included but it works for me.Overall – 4/5. In the end, the picture is the most important part and this delivers. A nightmare setup started things in the wrong foot and some of the overall Jankyness of the android streaming platform are a drawback, especially for the price. I’m happy with my purchase and my family will enjoy this device for years to come.

My main comment is on the VESA-compliant mounting screw capability on back of the TV for compatibility with standard mounting brackets. I only wished to hang my TV like a big picture within a wall nook especially recessed for 55″ TVs. Using two plain old M6 x 1″ bolts do the job just fine into the back of the set, along with some steel or copper wire cabling between them. The set only weighs 35 pounds or so. Takes 2 people to hang on the wall hangars, which can be 1″ fender washers on sturdy wood lag screws for certainty it won’t ever slip off. If you don’t need to swing your set out and pivot it around, there’s no need to spend $100-300 on a fancy “flush-mount” bracket that does that. I wish Sony packed something other then 2 short M6 screws only, without any cabling or simpler wall mount option.

I’ve had an Epson Projector for about 8 years that I use in our backyard and for camping trips. It’s a great projector, very bright (4400 Lumens), but also a pain to move around and set up.I started looking at solutions that could be portable and make setup easier. During my research I came across this Nebula Laser 4k projector. The specs looked good as did the product itself.I was hesitant based on some of the reviews and in comparison it seemed that the Xgimi might be a better option. I decided to give the Nevula a shot! The design looked more portable and it seems that the Xgimi and others can’t play Netflix. There appears to be a work around maybe, it I’m not that guy – I just want the stuff to work and not interested in more setup. I also liked that the Nebula has a matching case.I got this the other day and wow! Setup is super easy! Point it at a wall or screen and it does it’s thing. You do have to place it the correct distance and height for your screen size, but no big deal.My wife logged in all of the apps and we were watching movies in no time.I didn’t find any flaws or glitches as some have mentioned. Maybe all of the bugs are worked out.Overall, the picture is great – bright, clear, sharp. Sound is pretty good for a projector as well. I did link it to my JBL Party Box via Bluetooth and that was super easy as well.I think that the size is perfect to move around. If you are on the fence – this is a great projector. I really like it.
